i can't believe i'm admitting this, but i kind of stalked carine roitfeld this evening at the v man ice-skating party. here she is, wearing that amazing coat, walking arm-in-arm with stephen gan, of visionaire. we were thisclose. i know i'd seen her before when i was an editor and still in the same world as her, but back then i guess i was jaded because it was like just another day for me...for some reason, now that i'm completely out of the scene (read: TOTAL OUTSIDER), it seems even more amazing to be in her presence...
who else was there...kanye west was probably the second most notable, even though i love to hate him. i didn't get a photo, because it was so busy at that point, and i'm not one to be that girl...but he was rocking his mullet and a red sweater. and some black sunglasses, i think...i can't remember- throw some free wine and beer into the mix and it all looks the same to me...unless you're carine roitfeld!
